The difference between laser engraving and UV transfer

Laser engraving is mostly laser etching, which uses a focused laser beam to evaporate the surface of the workpiece at high temperature to form a pattern. The pattern after laser engraving is permanent and has excellent corrosion resistance.

The basic working principle of UV transfer is to use ultraviolet light to quickly solidify the special ink on the transfer material, thereby completing the image transfer process. This technology not only ensures the fineness and vividness of the image, but also has high durability. UV transferred images can be preserved for more than 10 years in a normal room environment. If they are exposed to wind, sun and rain outdoors, the image is usually retained for less than 2 years.
